Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL), Islamabad, invites applications from Pakistani nationals with Balochistan domicile for an Assistant position on a regular basis. Female candidates and candidates with a literary background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must be graduates of institutions recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Computer knowledge is desirable. The post may be filled in accordance with the Federal Government's unified recruitment rules.
The age limit is 18–28 years. All applicants are entitled to five years of relaxation in the upper age limit under Government policy, in addition to any other age relaxation admissible under Federal Government rules and prevailing instructions. The cited provisions are Establishment SRO 586(1)/99 dated 18 May 1999, F.9/2/91-R.5 dated 28 November 2000, and clarifications dated June 2010.
Applicants already in Government service must apply through the proper channel and produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the interview.
