About the role
The Directorate General Local Government and Rural Development Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites applications from eligible candidates of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for regular posts in Peshawar. The vacancies are allocated to the minority quota.

Eligibility
- Assistant: At least a second-class bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university.
- Sub Engineer: At least a second-division Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized board, and a three-year diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
- AutoCAD Operator: At least a second-class bachelor's degree from a university, and a one-year diploma in Civil AutoCAD from a recognized technical institute.
Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements by the application closing date. Age relaxation is admissible under existing government rules. Candidates with foreign degrees must provide HEC equivalence certificates. Government and semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel.
Admission to the ETEA screening test is provisional and based on the credentials supplied. The appointing authority will conduct detailed scrutiny, and candidates found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified. Candidates who pass the ETEA test will undergo further screening against the eligibility criteria.
Final selection will use 70 marks for educational criteria, 20 marks for the weighted ETEA test score and 10 marks for the interview. Only eligible shortlisted candidates will receive interview call letters. Candidates approved by the Selection Committee will undergo a medical examination at Police and Services Hospital, Peshawar. No travel or daily allowance is admissible for tests or interviews.
How to apply
1. Visit J92LINK0X and create a candidate profile.
2. Before applying or depositing the fee, generate and download an E-Sahulat token from the ETEA website. Have your CNIC number verified at a NADRA E-Sahulat franchise or kiosk. This verification is required to apply.
3. Submit the online application for the relevant post. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application and pay a separate fee for each post.
4. Download the generated deposit slip, which contains the token number, project code and candidate details. Deposit the prescribed non-refundable test fee through OneLink.
5. Retain the original candidate copy of the deposit slip bearing the bank stamp, and do not share it with anyone else.
Do not send documents or testimonials to the ETEA office after applying online. Candidates who qualify for the screening test must provide copies when requested by the appointing authority for scrutiny.
Bring your original CNIC to every test and interview. Bring original certificates, degrees and mark sheets to the interview.
Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applications containing false information or fake documents may be rejected at any stage.
ETEA will notify candidates by SMS to download their roll number slips from J92LINK0X. Do not provide a ported or converted mobile number. The test date, time and venue will appear on the roll number slip. Screening-test call letters will not be sent by post or courier.
