Balochistan Quota Vacancies at Pakistan Television Corporation Limited

About the role

Pakistan Television Corporation Limited (PTVC), under the administrative control of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, invites applications for regular appointments against the Balochistan quota. These opportunities cover production, news, marketing, engineering, security, translation, design, accounting and information technology.

Only candidates holding a Balochistan Local/Domicile Certificate are eligible. Recruitment will take place at district level through the newly established District Employment Cells in Balochistan to facilitate recruitment of residents.

Posts and vacancies

Eligibility

All applicants must possess a Balochistan Local/Domicile Certificate.

• Producer Current Affairs: At least 16 years of education through a master's or bachelor's honours degree in social sciences, languages or literature, with at least a second division. Eligible subjects are those covered by HEC notification No. DD/SS&H/CDSSHP/List/2015, dated 3 February 2015. Age: 18–35 years.

• News Producer / Reporter: A master's or bachelor's honours degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Political Sciences, International Relations or Media Sciences, with at least a second division. Age: 18–35 years.

• Producer / Producer Training Programmes: At least 16 years of education through a master's or bachelor's honours degree in social sciences, languages or literature, with at least a second division. Eligible subjects are those covered by HEC notification No. DD/SS&H/CDSSHP/List/2015, dated 3 February 2015.

• Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing with at least a second division, or an MBA in any field with at least a second division and three years of relevant experience. Age: 18–35 years.

• Associate Engineer (A/C): A three-year Diploma of Associate Engineer in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, or a three-year Diploma of Associate Engineer in Mechanical, with at least a second division and two to three years of experience in an air-conditioning plant. Age: 18–35 years.

• Security Assistant: An ex-serviceman at Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) level with Matric in at least a second division. Candidates who have completed a security course will receive preference. Age: 18–45 years.

• Sub Editor (Translator News): Graduation with at least a second division and five years of translation experience. Age: 18–35 years.

• Associate Designer: Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with at least a second division and five years of relevant experience. Age: 18–35 years.

• Assistant Accountant: B.Com, BBA, B.Sc or an Associate Degree after HSSC in Finance or Accounting, with at least a second division or equivalent CGPA of 2.25; or MBA/M.Sc in Finance or Accounting or M.Com, with at least a second division or equivalent CGPA of 2.25; or ICMA Part-II or CA Inter. Age: 18–35 years.

• Associate Computer Graphics Designer: BFA with two years of relevant experience; or BCS, BSCS or BIT with three years of relevant experience; or B.Sc/BA with a one-year postgraduate diploma in Computer Sciences and five years of relevant experience. Age: 18–35 years.

• Associate Network Administrator: BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCS, BIT or BSCS with three years of relevant experience. Age: 18–35 years.

• Assistant Network Administrator: MCS, MIT, MSIT or MCSC; or a four-year BSCS (Hons), BCS (Hons), BSIT (Hons) or BCE (Hons), with three years of relevant experience. Age: 18–35 years.

• Computer Graphics Designer: MCS, MIT, MBA (IT) or MSCS; or BFA, four-year BCS (Hons) or four-year Bachelor of Design, with three years of relevant experience. Age: 18–35 years.
