Biotechnologist and Lab Technician Vacancies at ICCBS, University of Karachi

About the role

The H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, invites applications for two posts on a contract basis. The posts fall under the Project of Establishment / Upgradation and Operation of CPQL and FPTRL, Department of Plant Protection, Jinnah Avenue, Malir Halt, Karachi. HEJRIC, ICCBS, University of Karachi, runs the project.

After training, the place of work will be the Department of Plant Protection, Malir Halt, Karachi.

Posts and vacancies

Selected candidates will be paid according to their qualification and experience.

Eligibility

Biotechnologist / Microbiologist / Biochemist

• M.Sc. or BS in Biotechnology, Microbiology or Biochemistry from an HEC-recognised university.

• Experience in a relevant field is required.

• Completion of an auditor course in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 will be preferred.

• Hands-on experience operating PCR and RT-PCR is also preferable.

Lab Technician

• Intermediate with Science, or a Diploma.

• Working experience as a laboratory attendant will be preferred.

All candidates should have at least two first divisions in their academic career.
