About the role
The Ministry of Science and Technology is seeking a dynamic leader with strong leadership, communication and management skills to head the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) under its administrative control. The appointee will provide strategic direction for research, development and scientific work and represent PCSIR at senior forums.

- Pay & allowances: Salary package for MP-I Scale as determined by the Finance Division
- Tenure: 03 years contract
Eligibility
- Educational qualification: Ph.D. degree in Natural/Applied Sciences OR Master's degree in Natural/Applied Sciences.
- Experience: For Ph.D. holders: 7 years of post-qualification experience in the field of research, development and scientific work. For Master’s degree holders: 9 years of post-qualification experience in the field of research, development and scientific work.
- Experience in administration and financial management at senior level will be preferred.
- Age limit: Maximum 62 years on the closing date of the advertisement.
