About the role

The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) invites applications for the post of Chairman to head the Public Sector Organization under its administrative control, Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR). The Chairman will provide leadership and management oversight of research, development and scientific work across the organisation. • Place of duty: Islamabad

• Pay & allowances: Salary package for MP-I Scale as determined by the Finance Division from time to time.

• Tenure: 03 years contract.

Qualification and experience (as advertised):

• Ph.D. Degree in Natural Applied Sciences: 7 years of post-qualification experience in the field of research, development and scientific work.

• OR Master Degree in Natural Applied Sciences: 9 years post-qualification experience in the field of research, development and scientific work.

• Experience in administration and financial management at senior level will be preferred.

Eligibility

• Nationality: Pakistani.

• Maximum age: 62 years on the closing date of the advertisement.
