About the role

Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) is a public limited company providing electricity to customers throughout Balochistan. It invites applications for 2,798 vacancies across 46 categories within its jurisdiction, under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division).

The appointments are on a lump-sum contractual basis for one year. Contract extensions will depend on performance appraisal. These positions are non-pensionable, carry no long-term benefits and will not be regularized.

Eligibility

Applicants for all posts must be aged 18 to 35 years as of the closing date. Only candidates with Balochistan local status or domicile are eligible. Applications from candidates holding local status or domicile outside Balochistan will not be entertained.

For the clerical and accounts posts carrying an IT training requirement, the training must be conducted by NITB/TEVTA or institutions affiliated with or recognized by the Board of Technical Education or Higher Education Commission.

For identified posts requiring trainable proficiency, selected candidates may acquire the prescribed proficiency through departmental on-the-job training during probation if none of the candidates possesses it at selection. Proficiency will be assessed before confirmation. Failure to acquire it will be dealt with under the applicable probation and service rules.
