Daily Wages/Contingent Staff Vacancies at University of the Punjab

About the role

The University of the Punjab invites applications from Pakistan nationals for several posts on a Daily Wages/Contingent Basis for a fixed period of 89 days. Appointments will be paid out of Self-Supporting/Departmental Funds/Contingent Paid Staff Budget and will be made in accordance with the Policy Framework for Work Charged Employees/Daily Wagers/Contingent Paid Staff issued by the Government of the Punjab, S&GAD (Regulations Wing) dated 29.01.2021 and notified/implemented by the University of the Punjab Vide No. 874/Est.II dated 13.05.2024. Selected candidates on daily wages/contingent basis shall not have any right to regular appointment or regularization, and shall not be entitled to file suits regarding hiring, continuation or termination.

• Mali (Female) — 1 post

• Cook — 1 post

All posts are purely on a Daily Wages/Contingent Basis for a period of 89 days.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be Pakistan nationals.

• Driver: Middle, preferably Matric. LTV + HTV for van, car, etc.

• Mali (Female): Illiterate; preference will be given to Primary pass.

• Cook: Literate.

No age limits, quotas or additional experience requirements are stated in the advertisement.
