About the role
The Office of the Chief Engineer, Sukkur Barrage Left Bank Region invites applications for the post of Data Processing Assistant. The post will be filled following departmental selection procedures and government service rules. Initial appointment will be on probation in accordance with applicable government laws, rules and policies. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for the interview.

Eligibility
- Age: 18 to 28 years. Age will be calculated on the last date to submit applications.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a relevant DIT diploma as indicated in the advertisement.
- Experience: At least one year of experience working as a Data Processing Assistant.
- Domicile: Candidates must have domicile of Sukkur District.
- Testing: Candidates must have passed the Sindh Testing Services (STS) general screening test with at least 40% marks and possess the STS certificate.
- Government employees: Candidates already in government service must obtain and submit an NOC from their department at the time of interview as required by the departmental selection committee.
- Age relaxations: Age relaxations will be allowed as per the Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules 2024 (Rule-7) and other applicable notifications; where applicable up to five years relaxation is referenced.
How to apply

- Originals of documents must be produced at the time of interview for verification by the departmental selection committee.
- Government servants must obtain NOC from their department and present the original NOC at interview when demanded by the departmental selection committee.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
