Director (Civil) and Director (E&M) Vacancies at Capital Development Authority (Contract)

About the role

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) invites applications for senior director posts on a contract basis to manage major infrastructure and building projects. Appointees will lead multidisciplinary construction environments and will be responsible for planning, execution and oversight of large-scale projects. Appointments are initially for a period of two years and may be extendable.

Eligibility

• Director (Civil): Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in large-scale projects at a senior level. A master's degree in Construction/Project Management is preferred. Candidate should be a Professional Engineer registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council. Proven experience in managing major infrastructure works with leadership responsibility is required.

• Director (E&M): Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in large-scale projects at a senior level. A master's degree in Construction/Project Management is preferred. Candidate should be a Professional Engineer registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council. Proven experience in managing major building and infrastructure works with leadership responsibility is required.

• Age: 40–50 years. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per government policy.

• All applicable quotas will be observed as per government policy.

• Candidates already serving in government sector organizations must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department along with the application.

• Only shortlisted candidates who qualify as per the above criteria will be called for written test, skill test, physical test or interview as applicable. No TA/DA will be admissible.

• Candidates will be required to bring original documents (educational and experience certificates) and attested copies at the time of interview.
