Bahria University invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Director Health Sciences at its Head Office in Islamabad. The university is an equal opportunity employer.
The Director will handle teaching faculty induction matters for Bahria University Health Sciences Campuses and matters relating to PM&DC, PN&MC, AHPC and PPC. The role also involves liaison with government health authorities and responsibility for health education matters in affiliated medical, dental and nursing institutes.
The Director will serve as Member and Secretary of the Faculty Board of Studies for the Faculty of Health Sciences and as a Member of the Academic Council. Responsibilities include handling all Bahria University Health Sciences Campuses matters at Head Office level, serving on the Selection Committee for teaching faculty induction, and maintaining updated faculty records in accordance with PM&DC, PN&MC, AHPC and PPC requirements. The Director will also serve as a member of the Affiliation Committee for Health Sciences institutes.
Candidates must hold an MBBS and an MS/M.Phil in Public Health or a relevant domain. Preferably, candidates should have 15 years of experience in a reputable hospital or a renowned public or private university or institute in Pakistan.
