About the role
Pakistan Institute of Ophthalmology, Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Rawalpindi, is hiring faculty for three two-year diploma courses. The vacancies are for instructors in nursing, dispensing opticianry and operation theater technology.
Posts and vacancies
- Nursing Instructor: For the two-year Certified Nursing Assistant Diploma course.
- Dispensing Optician Instructor: For the two-year Post Matric Dispensing Opticianry Diploma course.
- Operation Theater Technician Instructor: For the two-year Post Matric Operation Theater Technology Diploma course.
Eligibility
Nursing Instructor: Candidates must hold a BSN or Post RN qualification and have at least three years of relevant teaching experience in a recognized institute.
Dispensing Optician Instructor: Candidates must hold a BS in Optometry and Orthoptics and have relevant teaching experience in a recognized institute. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in optical dispensing, including spectacle dispensing, lens selection and frame fitting.
Operation Theater Technician Instructor: Candidates must hold a BS in Operation Theatre Technology, a related discipline or an equivalent qualification. Relevant teaching experience in a recognized institution is required.
