About the role
NADRA is seeking a Head of Internal Audit to lead its Internal Audit function by providing independent and objective assurance on governance, risk management, internal controls, compliance and operational effectiveness. The role will strengthen organizational accountability by delivering risk-based audits, promoting best practices, and providing strategic recommendations to Management and the Audit Committee. The post requires leadership of financial, operational, IT, forensic, performance and compliance audits across NADRA offices and coordination with external auditors, regulators and oversight bodies when required.

Eligibility
- Professional qualification: Chartered Accountant (ICAP/ICAEW) or ACCA; ACMA or a Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field from an HEC-recognized university. Degrees must be attested by HEC.
- Professional experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk management, governance, compliance or financial controls, including at least 5 years in a senior internal audit leadership position. Proven experience of leading internal audit functions in large public-sector, corporate, financial or technology-driven organizations is required.
- Preferred: Internal audit certifications such as CISA or CIA. Strong command of IPPF/Internal Auditing Standards, COSO, ERM and corporate governance principles. Experience with AI-enabled auditing, digital audit tools and data analytics is an added advantage.
