IT Professional Vacancies at Programme Monitoring and Implementation Unit

About the role

The Programme Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU), Punjab Education Sector Reforms Programme (PESRP), School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, invites applications from eligible professionals for the Actions to Strengthen Performance for Inclusive and Responsive Education (ASPIRE) project. The positions will continue until completion of the project.

There is one vacancy for each of the following positions:

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a master's degree or a bachelor's degree with honours in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field from a local or foreign university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Artificial Intelligence is also an eligible degree subject for the Senior Software Engineer position.

• Software Team Lead: Six years of verifiable relevant experience. Knowledge of Scrum and Agile development is desirable. PMP or PRINCE II certification is preferred.

• Database Administrator: Six years of verifiable relevant experience. DBA certification is preferred.

• DevOps Engineer and Cyber Security: Five years of verifiable relevant experience. Certified DevOps Engineers are preferred.

• Senior Software Engineer: Five years of verifiable relevant experience. Preference will be given to Artificial Intelligence professionals.

• Senior Software Developer (UI/UX): Five years of verifiable relevant experience.

• QA / Test Engineer: Five years of verifiable relevant experience. Knowledge of SQL injection and load testing is desirable. Certified professionals are preferred.

• Network / System Administrator: Five years of verifiable relevant experience. CCNP-certified professionals are among the preferred candidates.

• Junior Software Engineer: Five years of verifiable relevant experience.
