About the role
Nishtar Medical University and Hospital, Multan, invites applications for medical and technical positions on a contract basis. Initial appointments will be for three years, extendable subject to good performance, under the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004, as amended, and Recruitment Policy, 2022.
The Senior Health Physicist position is associated with the construction of a 100-bedded Cancer Centre at Nishtar Hospital, Multan. The positions carry lump-sum pay packages. Salary will be offered at a competitive market-based rate, subject to approval by the SSB.

Eligibility
Male and female applicants domiciled in Punjab may apply. Age and experience will be calculated as of the application closing date. Upper-age relaxation will follow the latest Government of Punjab S&GAD notification and Recruitment Policy, 2022. Quotas will be observed under Recruitment Policy, 2022.
Candidates with O-Level or A-Level qualifications must submit an equivalence certificate. Applicants with disabilities must attach proof of registration issued by the Social Welfare Department, together with a disability certificate. Only degrees issued by HEC-recognized universities or institutions will be accepted. Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
Applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for their chosen posts. Incomplete documentation may result in rejection. False documents or concealment of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of recruitment or during service.

Obtain the application form from www.nmu.edu.pk. Address applications to the Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University and Hospital, Multan, and submit them by registered courier or by hand during office hours.
Attach two attested copies of educational qualifications and certificates or documents, including testimonials, experience certificates, domicile and CNIC, together with passport-size photographs. Attach attested testimonials where applicable. Clearly state the claim to any quota on both the envelope and the application.
Submit a separate application for each post if applying for more than one position. Clearly write the post title on the envelope and on each application form.
Applications must reach the office by 21 November 2026. Late applications will not be entertained. Shortlisted candidates will receive interview call letters after scrutiny of applications.
Bring original documents for scrutiny and interview, including all original degrees and diplomas. Candidates without their original degrees or diplomas will not be allowed to appear for interview. No travel or daily allowance will be paid for the interview.
The department reserves the right to cancel recruitment or increase or decrease the number of posts at any stage without assigning a reason. Recruitment will follow the applicable Punjab government contract appointment and recruitment policies and instructions.
