About the role
The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan Health Department invites applications from eligible doctors under the development scheme “SPS Posts (Technical and Specialized Staff) for District Nagar.” Recruitment will take place through a scheduled interview on a fixed-pay, temporary basis.
The monthly pay package for both Medical Officer and Lady Medical Officer is Rs. 150,000. If no extension is granted when the appointment term expires, the contract will terminate automatically. Appointees will have no right to claim regularization of their services before any forum or court of law.

Eligibility
Candidates for both posts must hold an MBBS or equivalent qualification from a university or institute recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC). Applicants must have Gilgit-Baltistan domicile. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
Regular or contract doctors serving with the Gilgit-Baltistan Government may apply through the proper channel.

Submit an application during office hours to the Office of the Secretary Health, Gilgit-Baltistan, New Secretariat, Jutial, Gilgit. Include an active mobile phone number and one set of attested photocopies of all relevant documents, including:
- Valid permanent registration with PM&DC
Applications and the required attested documents must reach the office by 11 November 2026. Candidates who fail to submit the required documents by the deadline will not be considered for interview.
