The Medical Education Department at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Karachi, invites applications for medical training positions across its clinical departments. All courses are full-time training positions. Training will start in January 2027.
A stipend will be provided according to NICVD policies. Trainees may not work with another organization during the training period, except those appointed as TRMO (Tier I and II). Application processing and admission fees will apply.
All positions require MBBS, completion of a house job and valid Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) credentials. Additional requirements and program durations are listed below.

Applicants may apply from all over Pakistan. Selection will be purely on merit. Candidates must meet the qualifications and training requirements for their chosen position.
Government employees must apply through the proper channel and bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview. Foreign applicants must have a valid student visa and a valid PMDC certificate.
Only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview or test. No travel or daily allowance will be admissible for attending the interview or test.
