About the role

Air Base Inter College Mushaf, Sargodha, part of Fazaia Schools & Colleges, invites applications from energetic, competent and well-qualified candidates for the position of Principal. Candidates should have strong communication, administrative and management skills.

This is contract-based employment, renewable annually on the basis of performance. The selected candidate will be offered an attractive pay package.

Eligibility

Male and female candidates must be medically fit and no more than 60 years old. Both retired education officers from the armed forces and civilian candidates may apply.

• Retired armed forces education officers: MA or MSc in any subject, with at least 15 years of commissioned service.

• Civilian candidates: MA or MSc in any subject, with 5–10 years of teaching experience and 5–10 years of supervisory or administrative experience, and at least 15 years of aggregate experience at intermediate or degree college level.

Candidates are ineligible if they were prematurely terminated or dismissed from a government or non-government institution, or terminated from a Fazaia institution because of an allegation or disciplinary issue. Candidates with a history of moral turpitude, financial embezzlement or criminal offences are also ineligible. Applicants must produce a no-objection certificate from their previous institution in this regard.

The reputation of the finally selected candidate will be verified with their previous workplace. Concealment of any fact or information may lead to strict disciplinary action, even after selection.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No travel or daily allowance will be admissible for the interview.

Candidates shortlisted for the final interview must undertake a legally binding bond on stamp paper. If finally recommended by the selection board, they must accept the post and serve the institute for an initial period of two years, subject to satisfactory performance. Decisions of the selection committee or board will be final and may not be challenged at any forum or in any court.
