Candidates must hold MA/M.Sc. and M.Ed qualifications with a minimum second division. At least 10 years of administrative or teaching experience is required.

Applicants must have certified professional development courses. Experience in the Army Public Schools and Colleges System (APSACS) will be preferred. The required skills include leadership, organization, problem-solving, communication and information and communication technology.
