About the role
The Special Education Department, Government of Punjab, is hiring professional staff for Maryam Nawaz School and Resource Centre for Autism, Lahore. Appointments will be on a contract basis for three years, with a lump-sum monthly salary. Contract extensions will depend on performance.
The centre is located at 1-D1, Township, Lahore.

Eligibility
- Occupational Therapist: BS or MS in Occupational Therapy, with licensing or registration, or Rehabilitation from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Five years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy and practice with autism is required.
- School Counsellor: BS in Applied Psychology, Behaviour Psychology or Educational Psychology, with five years of experience counselling children with special educational needs.
- Life Skills Coach: BS in Occupational Therapy or Rehabilitation Sciences, with five years of experience in life-skills coaching or rehabilitation.
- Music Therapist: Graduate with three years of experience in instrumental and vocal music from a recognized organization.
- Sensory Integration Therapist: BS in Occupational Therapy with specialization in Sensory Therapy, or Rehabilitation from an HEC-recognized university, with licensing or registration. Five years of experience providing sensory integration therapy to neurodiverse children is required.
- AAC Specialist: Registered BS in Speech and Language Therapy or Pathology, with five years of experience working with autistic children.
- Receptionist: BS in Public Relations, Social Science or Sociology from an HEC-recognized university, with two years of relevant experience in a reputed organization or firm.
Age relaxation under government policy is already included in the age limits listed above. No further age relaxation will be granted.

Only shortlisted candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview. At the interview, candidates must bring their original documents, one set of attested copies of all relevant documents and a photograph. No travel or daily allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
