Project Director Vacancies at Capital Development Authority (CDA)

About the role

Capital Development Authority (CDA) invites applications on a contract basis for senior Project Director posts to manage major infrastructure works. Appointments are initially for a period of two years and may be extended if required; appointees will have no vested right to regular appointment. Only shortlisted candidates who meet the qualifications and experience requirements will be called for written test, skill test and interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.

Posts and vacancies

• Project Director (Civil) — 05 posts — PPS-10

- Minimum qualification and experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; registered professional engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council; proven experience in managing major infrastructure works in a leadership role with multidisciplinary construction experience. A Master's degree in Construction Project Management will be an advantage.

• Project Director (E&M) — 02 posts — PPS-10

- Minimum qualification and experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; registered professional engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council; minimum 15 years of relevant experience in large-scale projects in a senior position. A Master's degree in Construction Project Management will be an advantage.

Eligibility

• Age: 40–50 years as shown against the posts. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per government policy.

• Quotas: All applicable quotas will be observed as per government policy.

• Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department with the application.

• Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original educational and experience certificates and two attested copies at the time of interview.
