About the role
The Government of Pakistan's Finance Division (Main) invites applications for regular Stenotypist and Driver posts under the Balochistan quota. Selected candidates will be posted in Islamabad. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.

Finance Division (Main) reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any stage, subject to availability.
Eligibility
Stenotypist: Candidates must have an Intermediate qualification and minimum shorthand and typing speeds of 80 and 40 words per minute, respectively. Computer-literate candidates will be given preference.
Driver: Candidates must have passed primary school, hold a valid driving licence and be well-versed in traffic rules.
Both posts are allocated to the Balochistan quota. Preference will be given to candidates from the 12 districts of Southern Balochistan. The technical skills requirement may be relaxed until completion of the probation period.
How to apply
Apply online through www.njp.gov.pk within 15 days of publication, by 14 November 2026. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. Serving government employees must apply through the proper channel.
Applicants are requested to appear before the Selection Committee for walk-in interviews. Interview arrangements will be communicated at a later date. Original documents must be presented at the interview. No travel or daily allowance will be admissible for the test or interview.
Information supplied in the application will be verified if an appointment is offered. False or forged information may result in cancellation of candidature at any stage, including after employment, and legal action against the applicant.
