About the role
Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro University of Art, Design and Heritages (SABS University), Jamshoro, invites applications for teaching positions and the post of Registrar. The initial appointment will be on a purely contractual basis for three years. Teaching positions are open to eligible candidates from across Pakistan, while the Registrar position is open only to candidates holding a Sindh domicile.

Eligibility
Registrar: Applicants must hold a master's degree representing 18 years of education, preferably in first class, or an equivalent qualification. They must have 17 years of administrative experience in university-level posts equivalent to BPS-17 and above and be conversant with university rules and regulations. The age limit is 35 years. A Sindh domicile is required.
Teaching positions: Eligibility criteria are those prescribed by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Candidates should consult the university's career website for the criteria. Lecturer applicants must have a relevant GRE score of at least 50%, obtained on or before the closing date. Architecture faculty applicants must hold valid registration with PCATP.
Candidates serving in government, semi-government or autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate from their employer. They are responsible for securing proper release from their parent departments.

Attach attested photocopies of all relevant documents, including educational, professional and experience certificates, and a paid bank challan for the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 5,000, payable to the Director Finance of the university.
Professor and Associate Professor applicants must submit three copies of their bio-data with the required and other relevant documents, properly bound and showing details of work experience and positions held.
Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application form, bank challan and supporting documents for each post. Clearly mark the envelope with the post applied for.
Incomplete applications, applications without the required attested documents or paid challan, late applications, and applications submitted in person or by hand will not be considered.

Important dates
Applications must reach the university by 31 July 2026. Lecturer applicants must obtain the required GRE score by this date.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test or interview. No travelling or daily allowance will be admissible for attending the interview or written test.
