About the role

Shuhada-e-Army Public School University of Technology, Nowshera invites online applications from eligible candidates of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for teaching, technical and administrative positions under Advertisement No. Reg-03/26. The lecturer position is on a regular basis. The Lab Technologist and PS to Vice Chancellor positions are on a contract basis for a maximum of three years under Section 11-5-e of the KP Universities Act 2012, as amended. Regular appointments will be made on a CP Fund basis.

Eligibility

• Lecturer: A first-class master's degree in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution, with no third division in the academic career.

• Lab Technologist: B.Sc. in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field, with first division or a CGPA of 3.0, from a university or degree-awarding institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan.

• PS to Vice Chancellor: A first-division master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Economics or Agricultural Economics, with five years of secretarial experience in a university, government department or autonomous organization.

For the administrative position, a CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 will be treated as first division. Eligibility in all respects will be assessed as of 31 July 2026. Age relaxation will be considered case by case under government rules.

Candidates employed by government or semi-government bodies must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate from their current employer. Foreign degrees require HEC/IBCC equivalence certificates. Documents in languages other than English must include an officially verified English translation.

How to apply

Online application and ETEA screening test

1. Create a profile on the ETEA website at www.etea.edu.pk. Before paying the test fee, obtain an E-Sahulat token from the website and have your CNIC verified at a NADRA E-Sahulat franchise or kiosk. This verification is required to apply.
2. Submit the online application. A deposit slip containing your token number, project code and personal information will be generated.
3. Pay the prescribed non-refundable test fee through the Easypaisa app, an Easypaisa agent or any UBL Bank branch using the generated deposit slip.
4. Retain the original candidate copy of the deposit slip bearing the bank stamp. Do not share it with a third party. Documents and testimonials do not need to be sent to the ETEA office after the online application.

Admission to the screening test is provisional and based on the credentials supplied. The appointing authority will conduct detailed scrutiny, and candidates found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified.

ETEA will notify candidates by SMS to download their roll number slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Do not provide a ported or converted mobile number. The test date, time and venue will appear on the roll number slip. Separate call letters will not be sent by post or courier.

Application after qualifying the ETEA test

Candidates scoring at least 50% in the ETEA test may submit the completed and signed application form available at www.uotnowshera.edu.pk/careers Attach attested copies of degrees or certificates, transcripts or DMCs, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC and one recent photograph.

A processing fee of Rs. 1,000 must be deposited into the university's Bank of Khyber account:

Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be invited for a demonstration or interview. Incomplete applications and applications containing false information or fake documents may be rejected at any stage. No TA/DA is admissible for the interview.

The university may withhold recruitment, increase or decrease vacancies, cancel the recruitment or re-advertise positions without assigning a reason. It may also rectify errors in the advertisement. Candidates should visit the university website regularly for updates.

• Post-test application: Qualifying candidates are instructed to submit their application and processing fee within 15 days of the result. The conditions also require all information and documents to be submitted within 15 days after the test. These must relate to eligibility as of the online application closing date; later claims, records or documents will not be accepted.
