Required postgraduate qualification: Level IIb or Level III postgraduate degree or diploma in Medical Education, Health Professions Education or related field recognized by PM&DC. Required experience: At least three (03) years as Associate Professor in the respective subject OR nine (09) years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the respective subject. Required research publications: Six (6) research publications as Associate Professor in relevant subject; a total of fifteen (15) research publications in relevant subject, of which six (6) should be during the last three years. Level-IIb holders shall be eligible to become Professor.
2	Director Quality Enhancement Cell / Institutional Assessment and Effectiveness (IQAE)	1	BPS-20	MS/MPhil or equivalent degree (18 years education) in Health/Medical Education, Life Sciences or Management Sciences recognized by HEC with 12 years' experience in administration/management in an HEC recognized public sector university/degree awarding institute or a public sector organization in BPS-17 or equivalent and above; OR Masters or equivalent degree (16 years education) in the same fields recognized by HEC with 15 years' experience in administration/management in an HEC recognized public sector university/degree awarding institute or a public sector organization in BPS-17 or equivalent and above.
3	Deputy Registrar	1	BPS-18	M.A. / M.Sc. / MPA / MBA from an HEC recognized university with 5 years administrative experience OR MBBS with 5 years teaching/administrative experience.
4	Deputy Controller of Examinations	1	BPS-18	M.A. / M.Sc. / MPA / MBA from an HEC recognized university with 5 years administrative experience OR MBBS with 5 years teaching/administrative experience.
5	Network Administrator	1	BPS-17	MS in Computer Sciences or BE in Engineering from an HEC recognized university having 2–3 years' experience of network administration and management.
6	Database Administrator	1	BPS-17	MS in Computer Sciences, BCS or BE in Engineering from an HEC recognized university having 2–3 years' experience of database administration. Must possess good oral and written communication and presentation skills; in-depth knowledge of leading database development tools, middleware tools, hardware platforms and operating systems; well versed in multi-tier vs client/server models and database technologies.

About the role

The University of Health Sciences Lahore (UHS) invites applications from eligible candidates having domicile of Punjab for multiple posts on contract basis. Appointments will be on contract as per UHS Service Statutes 2005. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a reputable public sector medical university or institution. The university may conduct tests or screening for shortlisting and selected candidates can be posted at any UHS campus (City & Jinnah Campus KSK).

Eligibility

Only candidates domiciled in Punjab may apply.

Upper age limit for listed posts is up to 55 years; relaxation in upper age limit may be granted as per statutes/rules of Government of Punjab.

Only post-qualification experience shall be considered for eligibility. Experience may include equivalent experience in the service of an autonomous or semi-autonomous organization or a reputable private organization.

Applicants working in public sector organizations/departments must apply through proper channel.

Specific qualifications and experience by post are listed under Roles in this advertisement and include: MBBS or equivalent recognized by PM&DC with postgraduate degree/diploma in Medical Education and prescribed teaching/research experience for Professor; MS/MPhil or Masters in relevant disciplines with specified administrative experience for Director IQAE; appropriate Masters or MBBS with 5 years' administrative/teaching experience for Deputy Registrar and Deputy Controller of Examinations; and advanced degrees in Computer Science/Engineering with 2–3 years' relevant experience for Network Administrator and Database Administrator.

4) Fee: BPS-17 & above = Rs. 2000/-. Applications submitted without deposited system-generated fee challan will not be entertained. Deposited amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.

5) Submit the printed online application form along with all attached documents in person or via courier to the Office of Human Resource Department by the closing date. Applicants working in the public sector must apply through proper channel. No TA/DA shall be admissible.
