About the role
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, is hiring technicians for data center facility support in Islamabad.
Both roles support the operation, monitoring, inspection and first-level maintenance of critical data center infrastructure. This includes power, cooling, access control, fire suppression, CCTV, UPS, PDPM, SPM, power distribution units, generators and HVAC systems.
Responsibilities include using monitoring tools such as DCIM to track the performance of installed infrastructure, troubleshooting LT and ATS panels, and supporting fault resolution for generators, HVAC and fire suppression systems. Both positions also require 24/7 support for emergency handling and issue resolution.
Posts and vacancies
- Deputy Superintendent (Technician - Data Center Facility): Requires at least five years of relevant post-qualification experience. The maximum age is 35 years.
- Assistant Superintendent (Technician - Data Center Facility): Requires at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience. The maximum age is 30 years.
Eligibility
Candidates for either position must hold a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or another relevant field. The qualification must be recognized and attested by the relevant board. Applicants must meet the experience requirement and maximum age limit for their chosen position.
