About the role
The Office of the Executive Engineer, Buildings Division Umerkot, Government of Sindh, invites applications for initial recruitment to BPS-01 to BPS-04 posts. Applicants must hold a domicile of District Umerkot. Recruitment is subject to the budget book for financial year 2026–2027.
The recruitment follows the High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Mirpurkhas, order dated 19 May 2026 in CP Nos. D-324, D-397, D-446 and D-447 of 2026, and the cabinet decision dated 1 December 2025, communicated by the Section Officer-V, SGA&CD, Government of Sindh, Karachi, through letter No. SO V (SGA&CD)8-27/2019 (Pt-IV), dated 3 December 2025.

The vacancies are purely temporary and will become permanent after completion of probation under the Sindh Service (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1973. The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased at any stage, and candidates have no right to challenge such a change.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a domicile of District Umerkot and meet the qualifications and experience requirements for their chosen post.
A general relaxation of five years in the upper age limit is admissible under Government of Sindh rules and policy, as communicated through Notification No. SOII (SGA&CD)5-64/2011 (Part-II), dated 6 March 2025.
Government quota rules apply, including 5% for differently-abled persons, 15% for women, 5% for minorities and 0.5% for transgender persons. Applicants already in government service must apply through their respective departments using the proper channel. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
How to apply
Complete the application form and submit it to Buildings Division Umerkot, Office of the Executive Engineer. Attach two passport-size photographs and attested copies of academic testimonials, CNIC, domicile, PRC, driving licence and experience certificate, where required.
The application form asks for the post applied for, quota category, applicant's name, father's name, CNIC number, date of birth, qualification, union council, district domicile, postal address, cell number and applicant's signature. Quota categories listed on the form are General, DAPs, Women, Minorities and Transgender.
Only eligible, shortlisted candidates will be called for a test or interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
