Driver (Female/Transgender/Intersex)

About the role

The Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA), under the Transport and Mass Transit Department, Government of Sindh, invites applications for a driver position with the Karachi Mobility Project, BRT Yellow Line. The project is funded by an international lending agency.

The appointment is temporary and contractual, with annual renewal based on performance. The selected candidate will have no entitlement to future regularization under government policy. A competitive package will be offered in accordance with government rules.

Eligibility

Applicants must have passed middle school and hold a valid driving licence issued in Sindh. Preference will be given to holders of LTV, HTV or PSV licences. At least two years of driving experience is required, and applicants must not be older than 45 years.

Candidates must have excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find locations. The Government of Sindh's domicile policy and applicable rules will apply.
