About the role
Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Lahore, is recruiting sub-engineers in several technical disciplines and Assistant Station Masters, Grade I. Appointments are on a contract basis. Contract extensions are subject to satisfactory performance and departmental requirements.

Eligibility
The age limit for all listed posts is 18–35 years.
All sub-engineer applicants must have Matriculation in the second division with science, together with the relevant three-year Diploma of Associate Engineering:
- Mechanical: Mechanical Technology.
- Signal: Electrical or Electronic Technology.
- Telecom: Electrical or Electronic Technology.
- Electrical Power: Electrical or Electronics.
- Drawing, Headquarters/Division: Civil Technology, plus a diploma or certificate in computerized drafting, such as AutoCAD or an equivalent qualification.
Assistant Station Master applicants must hold a BA, BSc or equivalent qualification in the second division from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. A six-month computer course is mandatory. Women may apply for this post.
