Defence Housing Authority Karachi invites applications for engineering and technical positions. The vacancies cover electrical and mechanical infrastructure, transportation engineering, structural design, quantity surveying, CAD design and project estimation.

Posts and vacancies

• Additional Director / Superintendent Engineer: BE or MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Requires a minimum of 15–20 years of experience in planning, designing and controlling electrical and mechanical infrastructure works, along with knowledge of the latest software and NEPRA regulations. Maximum age: 45 years.

• Senior Transportation Engineer: BE in Civil Engineering and MS in Transportation Engineering. Requires at least 10 years of infrastructure design experience with a design consultancy firm. Maximum age: 46 years.

• Assistant Executive Engineer (XEN) — Electrical and Mechanical: BE or MS in Electrical Engineering. Requires at least five years of experience in planning, monitoring and constructing major electrical and mechanical infrastructure works. Maximum age: 45 years.

• Junior Structure Engineer: BE in Civil Engineering and MS in Structures. Requires at least five years of experience with a design consultancy firm and the ability to design medium-sized civil engineering projects. Maximum age: 45 years.

• Quantity Surveyor — Civil: DAE in Civil Engineering or B.Tech. Requires 15 years of experience in bills of quantities, cost estimates, billing and finishing projects.

• CAD Designer: DAE, with architectural technology or interior design expertise and five to seven years of relevant experience. Maximum age: 40 years.

• SDO — Electrical and Mechanical: DAE in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines or B.Tech. Requires 15 years of experience in bills of quantities, cost estimates, billing and finishing projects. Maximum age: 40 years.

• SDO — Civil: DAE in Civil Engineering or B.Tech. Requires 15 years of experience in bills of quantities, cost estimates, billing and finishing projects. Maximum age: 40 years.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the qualifications, experience requirements and age limits for their chosen post. Only shortlisted candidates who meet the criteria will be called for an interview.
