Dr. A.Q. Khan Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technology (KICSIT), Campus of Institute of Space Technology Islamabad, is seeking highly motivated and result-oriented individuals for faculty positions. Posts and vacancies

1. Assistant Professor (Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering) — Gross pay approx. Rs. 202,000/-, KEPS-09, along with transport and medical facility.

2. Assistant Professor (Computer Engineering) — Gross pay approx. Rs. 202,000/-, KEPS-09, along with transport and medical facility. Candidates for this post must possess PEC registration as stated.

3. Lecturer (Computer Science) — Gross pay approx. Rs. 140,000/-, KEPS-08, along with transport and medical facility.

Eligibility

• Assistant Professor posts: PhD in the relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering) or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.

• Lecturer: Master's degree (MS/MPhil equivalent) in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university, with first division in the relevant field.

• Candidates who completed 'A' Levels must provide an equivalence certificate from IBCC with their application.

• For the Computer Engineering Assistant Professor post candidates must possess a PEC registration number.

• Only one second division is allowed in the whole academic career.

• Candidates already in government service must apply through proper channel and submit NOC from their present department at the time of interview.

• Concealment of information (academic, experience or any other) may disqualify the applicant at any stage.

• The posts are purely contractual but likely to continue for an indefinite period.
