Sanitary Worker / Cleaner (89-Day Temporary)

About the role

The Office of the Medical Superintendent, Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kahuta, invites applications from eligible candidates resident in Rawalpindi district for cleaning and sanitation work at the hospital.

The appointment is purely temporary for a period of 89 days and is made through the Health Council. It gives no right to permanent appointment or regular employment, and it is not against a sanctioned post.

Selected candidates will be posted to the relevant hospital or institution as required and must carry out the duties assigned to them. They must perform the cleaning and related duties assigned by the hospital administration.

Selected candidates must register on the hospital's biometric system and mark attendance every day. Pay is linked only to the biometric system. A day without biometric attendance counts as an absence, and absence for two consecutive days will lead to dismissal. Any complaint or unsatisfactory performance will lead to dismissal without prior notice.

Wages will be paid at the government-approved rate, only by crossed cheque or bank account transfer.

Eligibility

• Candidates must be medically and physically fit.

• Candidates with experience of hospital cleaning and sanitation work will be preferred.

• Age limit: 50 years or less.

• Candidates must be residents of, or hold a domicile of, the relevant district (Rawalpindi). They must also meet the prescribed criteria.

• Recruitment will be made on merit under the prevailing policy and instructions of the Government of the Punjab.

Other conditions:

• Applications received after the closing date, or incomplete applications, will not be accepted.

• At the interview, candidates must present their original CNIC, original educational certificates, domicile and experience certificate.

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or selection.

• The competent selection committee may accept or reject any application under the rules. It may also make any appropriate decision about the recruitment process.

• If any information or document is found false or fake at any stage, the application or appointment may be cancelled.
