Paramedical Staff Vacancies at District Health Office Lower Kohistan

About the role

The District Health Officer, Lower Kohistan, invites online applications from suitable candidates of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for paramedical positions. The posts are offered on a need basis under the control of the District Health Office, Lower Kohistan. Preference will be given to candidates with a domicile of District Lower Kohistan. If local candidates are not available, candidates from adjacent or nearest districts will be considered, subject to all formalities being met.

Candidates will be screened through a test conducted by the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA). Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.

Posts and vacancies

The number of posts may be increased or decreased according to the position codes allotted by the Finance Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Errors or omissions in the number of posts are subject to correction.

Eligibility

• CT posts (Radiology, Dental, Pharmacy, Pathology, Cardiology): at least a second division Secondary School Certificate in Science from a recognized Board, and a two-year Diploma in the relevant Paramedical Technology from the recognized KP Medical Faculty, Peshawar.

• PHC Technician (MCH) and PHC Technician (MP): a qualification in Midwifery from a recognized Nursing Examination Board and valid registration with the Pakistan Nursing Council as a Lady Health Visitor (LHV).

• Paramedical technology posts: at least a second division Secondary School Certificate in Science from a recognized Board and a two-year Diploma in the relevant Paramedical Technology from a recognized Medical Faculty, or FSc Medical Technology in the relevant technology from a recognized Board.

• Age: 18 to 32 years. Age relaxation applies as per existing government rules.

• Domicile: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Preference goes to candidates domiciled in District Lower Kohistan, then to those from adjacent or nearest districts.

• Quotas: 10% for female candidates, 2% for disabled candidates and 5% for minority candidates.

• Holders of foreign degrees must provide equivalence certificates from HEC.

• Candidates must be eligible in all respects by the closing date.

• Candidates in government or semi-government service must apply through proper channel.

How to apply

1. Create a profile on www.etea.edu.pk.
2. Before applying or paying the fee, print the E-Sahulat token from the ETEA website and get your CNIC number verified at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (kiosk). You cannot apply without this verification.
3. Apply online for the post at www.etea.edu.pk. After submission, a deposit slip will be generated showing your token number, project code and personal details.
4. Print the deposit slip and pay the non-refundable test fee through 1Link.
5. Keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) bearing the bank stamp with you and do not share it with anyone.
6. Do not send documents or testimonials to the ETEA office. Candidates who pass the screening test will provide copies when required by ETEA or the Appointing Authority.
7. Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each post and pay a separate fee.

ETEA will inform candidates by SMS to download and print their Roll Number Slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Do not register a ported or converted mobile number. The test date, time and venue will appear on the Roll Number Slip; no separate call letter will be sent by post or courier.

Shortlisted candidates must submit attested photocopies of each document to the DHO Office, Lower Kohistan, for scrutiny, and bring original documents, their CNIC and attested photocopies to the interview. Selected candidates will pay the verification fee for each document. All related information will be displayed on the notice board of the DHO Lower Kohistan.

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Candidates are allowed into the test provisionally; anyone found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified. Misinformation or fake documents will lead to exclusion or cancellation of appointment. No TA/DA is admissible for the test or interview.
