Sanitary Worker / Cleaner at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Jalalpur Pirwala

About the role

The Office of the Medical Superintendent, Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Jalalpur Pirwala, District Multan, invites applications from residents of District Multan for janitorial staff to carry out cleaning and sanitation work at the hospital.

The appointment is purely temporary, for a short fixed term, and is made through the Health Council. It does not create any right to a permanent appointment or regular employment, and it is not made against a sanctioned post. Hiring is on merit under the prevailing policy and instructions of the Government of Punjab.

Selected staff will keep the hospital clean and carry out related duties assigned by the administration as needed. They will be posted to the relevant hospital or institution as required. They must register on the hospital's biometric system and mark attendance every day. Pay is linked to biometric attendance: without it, a worker is treated as absent, and two consecutive days of absence lead to dismissal. A worker may also be dismissed without prior notice after any complaint or unsatisfactory performance.

Wages are paid at the government's fixed rate, only by crossed cheque or bank account.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be residents of District Multan and hold the district's domicile.

• Applicants must meet the prescribed criteria.

• Candidates must be medically and physically fit.

• Candidates with experience of cleaning and sanitation work in a hospital will be preferred.

• Age limit: 50 years or below.

At the interview, candidates must present their original National Identity Card, original educational certificates, domicile and experience certificate.

Applications received after the closing date, or incomplete applications, will not be accepted. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or selection.

The selection committee may accept or reject any application under the rules and decide all matters relating to the recruitment process. If any information or document is found to be false or fake at any stage, the application or appointment may be cancelled.
