About the role

The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad invites applications for a Research Associate to assist the Project Manager in laboratory and field conditions. The position is part of the research project titled “Accelerating genetic gain in wheat through hybrid breeding in Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Pakistan,” funded by ACIAR, Australia.

The Principal Investigator is Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali of the Department of Plant Breeding & Genetics, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.

• Duration: Six months or until completion of the project

• Salary: Rs. 70,000 per month, negotiable

Eligibility

Applicants must hold an M.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics, an MS in Biotechnology, or an MS in Molecular Biology.
