About the role

Association For Academic Quality (AFAQ) is an independent, ISO-certified, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting quality education. AFAQ is looking for highly qualified, experienced and dynamic individuals to join its Head Office in Lahore as Subject Specialists in Geography and Urdu.

The Subject Specialist will develop curriculum-aligned textbooks, worksheets, lesson plans, assessments, teacher support material and learning resources in their subject. They must be able to plan clear content progression, write age-appropriate material and prepare effective assessment items. The role also involves reviewing, proofreading and revising content according to feedback and quality standards.

Eligibility

• BS, MS or M.Phil. in the relevant subject. A B.Ed or M.Ed will be preferred.

• At least 5 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject.

• Experience in SLO-based teaching.

• Textbook writing and editing experience is preferred.

• Gender: Female.

• Age: 24 to 40 years.

Required skills:

• Strong subject command and academic writing skills.

• Editing, proofreading and content review.

• Strong understanding of the SOLO and Bloom's taxonomies, curriculum mapping, learning outcomes and international curriculum standards.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Familiarity with AI-based teaching and learning is an added strength.
