Sindh Government Lyari General Hospital, Karachi, invites applications for support staff vacancies. The recruitment is being handled through the Management Board associated with Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College, Lyari, and the hospital.

The advertised positions include Driver, Electrician, Pump Driver, Darkroom Assistant, Darkroom Attendant, Laboratory Attendant, Mortuary Attendant, Aya / Dai, Dhobi / Washerman, Ward Servant (Male / Female), Chowkidar, Cook, Barber, Gardener, Naib Qasid, Sewer Worker and Ward Boy. These positions carry grades ranging from BPS-01 to BPS-04.
Eligibility
Applicants must have the required qualifications and experience for their chosen position and domicile in Karachi South. Drivers must hold a valid LTV or HTV driving licence and have at least three years of driving experience. Electricians require Matriculation and three years of relevant experience. Pump Drivers require primary education and three years of relevant experience.
Primary education and relevant experience are required or preferred for several support positions. Applicants for Ward Boy must have primary education and two years of relevant experience. The age range is 21–35 years for Driver, 18–30 years for Sewer Worker, and 18–35 years for the other listed positions.
A general upper-age relaxation of five years applies under the Government of Sindh notification dated 6 March 2025. Quotas for women, persons with disabilities and minorities apply under government policy. Serving government employees must apply through the proper channel and attach a No Objection Certificate.

Attach two recent passport-size photographs and attested copies of educational certificates, CNIC, domicile, PRC, experience certificates and other relevant supporting documents. Clearly identify the position applied for and provide an active mobile number, a PTCL number if available, and an email address.
Applications must reach the office within the prescribed period. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview. Interviews will be held at the office of the Deputy Medical Superintendent (Administration), Sindh Government Lyari General Hospital, Karachi. Candidates will be informed by telephone or email. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Canvassing may lead to disqualification.
