Teaching and Support Staff Vacancies at Cantonment Board Lahore

About the role

Cantonment Board Lahore is recruiting teaching and support staff for its Cantonment Public Education Institutions. The appointments will be on a contract basis, and the posts are non-transferable. Vacancies include senior teachers, junior teachers, Montessori teachers, physical training instructors and laboratory and library staff.

Eligibility

Senior teachers

All six senior teaching posts require an MA, MSc or BS with 16 years of education in the relevant subject. An MPhil or MS with 18 years of education is preferred, as is a BEd or MEd. Skills in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel are mandatory. Applicants must have three years of experience in a reputable school and college and be aged 30–55 years.

Junior Teacher — English

Applicants should have an MA, MSc or BS with 16 years of education. BA/BSc holders may apply for backward areas. A one-year Montessori diploma from a recognized institution and skills in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel are mandatory. Three years of experience in a reputable institute are required. The age limit is 25–55 years.

Junior Teacher — Islamiyat/Nazra

The qualifications listed are a BA in the relevant subject with 14 years of education and Shahadat-ul-Almiya in Arabic and Islamic Studies, a 16-year qualification from an HEC-affiliated Wafaq-ul-Madaris. At least two years of experience are mandatory. The age limit is 30–55 years.

Junior Teacher — General Science

Applicants should have an MA, MSc or BS with 16 years of education. BA/BSc holders may apply for backward areas. A BEd is mandatory and is preferable for backward areas. Skills in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel are mandatory. Two years of experience in a reputable institute are required. The age limit is 25–50 years.

Junior Teachers — Mathematics, Urdu and General Subject

Each of these posts requires an MA, MSc or BS with 16 years of education. BA/BSc holders may apply for backward areas. A BEd is mandatory and is preferable for backward areas. Skills in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel are mandatory. Applicants must have three years of experience in a reputable institute and be aged 25–55 years.

Montessori Teacher

Applicants should have an MA, MSc or BS with 16 years of education. BA/BSc holders may apply for backward areas. A BEd is mandatory and is preferable for backward areas. Skills in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel are mandatory. Two years of experience in a reputable institute are required. The age limit is 25–50 years.

Science Lab Attendant

Applicants should hold a BSc, MSc, MS or BS with 14–16 years of education and have at least two years of experience. The age limit is 25–40 years.

Physical Training Instructor

Applicants must have an intermediate qualification with 12 years of education; higher qualifications are preferred. The eligibility criteria also list coaching courses from a recognized institution, departmental or provincial district-level coach/player experience, and physical training courses from a recognized institution. Three years of coaching or playing experience are required. The age limit is 30–55 years. Retired personnel from the Armed Forces, Civil Armed Forces and other departments with requisite experience or qualifications may apply.

Librarian/Assistant Librarian

Applicants must have at least a BS or equivalent degree in Library Sciences from an HEC-recognized institution. At least two years of experience as a librarian are required, preferably. The age limit is 25–50 years.

Lab Assistant (IT)

Applicants should hold a BSc in Computer Science or IT with 14 years of education. An MS or BS is preferred. At least two years of experience are required. The age limit is 25–40 years.

The upper age limit will be calculated on the application closing date. Existing faculty members who meet the criteria may apply. Individuals who previously retired or resigned from a position in the Cantonment Public Education System are also eligible.

Incomplete applications and applications that do not follow the required procedure will not be entertained. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test and interview. Applicants must submit attested copies of their CNIC and degrees verified by HEC or another relevant department at the interview.
