About the role

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) is recruiting experienced professionals to join its team at Headquarters. Selected candidates will be appointed on contract terms for specified periods and may be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan. Appointments are subject to PCAA medical fitness standards and verification of original documents.

Posts and vacancies

• Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) (EG-08) — 2 positions

- Pay: Rs. 1,373,230 per month - Contract for three (03) years (extendable) - Maximum age: 66 years (including all age relaxations)

• Superintendent (SG-10) — 1 position

- Pay: Rs. 204,495 per month (Negotiable) - Maximum age: 45 years (including all age relaxations) - Posts may be extendable

Eligibility

• Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Pakistani national; must hold or have held an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with a type rating on a commercial transport aircraft with MGTOW of 40,000 kg or more; not less than 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on such aircraft; at least 10 years' experience in commercial air transport as a pilot; SFI/TRI/SFE/TRE endorsement on ATPL (SFE/TRE preferred); experience in operational management, safety management, compliance audit or regulatory oversight is a plus; knowledge of ICAO Annex 6 and EU OPS regulations; proficiency in MS Office; excellent safety record and high professional integrity.

• Superintendent (SG-10): Bachelor’s degree with at least 2nd division; MS Office certificate; minimum ten (10) years' experience in general administration and office management including maintenance of official documents, records, data entry and management of complex schedules; experience in aviation administration or operations will be preferred.

Additional eligibility notes applicable to all applicants: candidates must be Pakistani nationals; vacancies are offered on merit; government servants and employees of autonomous bodies/corporations must submit NOC from current employer before interview; misinformation or attempted influence will disqualify candidates; provision of incorrect or forged documents will lead to termination.

(c) Applicants for Flight Operations Inspector must also upload a copy of the ATPL containing relevant endorsements and a copy of the last page of the log book showing flying hours. Applications that do not include the required documents will be rejected.

(d) Tests and interviews will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta; separate notices will be issued. Candidates called for interview must produce original documents for verification. No TA/DA is admissible for test/interview.
