About the role

Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore invites applications from eligible Pakistani candidates for administrative, specialist medical and nursing positions. Appointments will be made on a regular basis, in accordance with the rules and regulations of Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore.

Eligibility

Assistant: Graduation and a six-week Basic IT Training Course, including MS Office, conducted by the National Information Technology Board (NITB).

Infectious Disease Specialist: MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC), together with FCPS, MD, MS or an equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by PM&DC. Candidates must have seven years of clinical experience in the relevant field after postgraduate qualification, preferably in a teaching hospital. Candidates with research publications will be given preference.

Interventional Radiologist: MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC and a postgraduate degree in Radiology recognized by PM&DC. Seven years of experience as an Interventional Radiologist after postgraduate qualification in a teaching hospital is required. Candidates with research publications in the relevant field will be given preference.

Consultant Incharge (ICU) and Consultant Incharge (A&E): MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by or registered with PM&DC. Candidates must hold FCPS, FRCS, MD, MRCP or another equivalent postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant specialty recognized by PM&DC. Five years of practical experience in BS-18 or above in the respective specialty at a recognized institution is required.

Senior Consultant Anaesthetist / Intensivist: MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC and a postgraduate degree in the relevant field recognized by PM&DC. Seven years of experience after postgraduate qualification is required, preferably in a teaching hospital. Experience in transplant surgery and research publications will receive preference.

Deputy Administrator (Medical): MBBS, postgraduate training in hospital administration and 10–15 years of experience.

Deputy Administrator (General): MBA, CMA or CA, preferably with hospital administration and management experience; or MPA with 10–15 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a large organization, preferably a hospital or public-facing organization; or a master's degree in a social science with 10–15 years of supervisory experience in a large organization, preferably a hospital or public-facing organization.

Chief Nursing Superintendent: A postgraduate qualification recognized by the Pakistan Council of Nursing, BSc in hospital administration and registration as an A Grade Nurse. Candidates must have three years of experience as a Nursing Sister and 15 years of experience as a Nursing Superintendent. The experience requirement may be relaxed for candidates with a higher postgraduate qualification in nursing.

Age relaxation will be granted under Federal Government rules. Disability, minority, women and transgender quotas will be observed under Federal Government rules.
