Balochistan Quota Vacancies at Pakistan Sports Board

About the role

Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) invites applications from eligible candidates domiciled in Balochistan for regular appointments at PSB Headquarters, Islamabad, and PSB Coaching Centre, Quetta. Recruitment will be conducted under the applicable recruitment rules.

Posts and vacancies

Eligibility

The age limit for every post is 18–30 years. Five years of age relaxation will be allowed for all posts in accordance with government instructions.

• Office Assistant: Graduate with a six-week basic IT training course, including MS Office, conducted by NITB.

• Stenotypist: Intermediate qualification, typing speed of 40 words per minute and shorthand speed of 80 words per minute.

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Matriculation, typing speed of 30 words per minute and a three-week basic IT training course, including MS Office, conducted by NITB.

• Mali, Naib Qasid and Security Guard: Middle or primary education with sufficient professional background.

Candidates must hold Balochistan domicile. The Mali, Naib Qasid and Security Guard posts are reserved for the local Quetta quota.

Selected Office Assistant and LDC candidates must pass the basic IT training course from NITB before completing probation. After selection, candidates may be posted at PSB Headquarters, Islamabad, or PSB Coaching Centres in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.

Eligible government servants must apply through the proper channel and provide a departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the interview.

Candidates must bring a complete set of testimonials and educational documents to the interview. Original academic and experience documents will be checked.

Only eligible shortlisted candidates for Office Assistant, Stenotypist and LDC will be called for a test and interview. Their test and interview date and time will be communicated later. Walk-in interviews for Mali, Naib Qasid and Security Guard will take place at Pakistan Sports Board Coaching Centre, Ayub Stadium, Mir Jaffar Khan Jamali Road, Quetta.

Requests to change the test centre will not be entertained. Appearing in a test or interview does not confer a right to appointment. No travelling or daily allowance will be admissible for attending the test or interview. The department reserves the right to cancel or postpone recruitment at any stage without assigning a reason.
