About the role

The Ministry of Science and Technology is seeking a dynamic leader to head the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) under its administrative control. The Chairman will provide strategic leadership, oversight of research and development activities, and management of the organisation's programmes and resources.

• Pay: Salary package on MP-I Scale as determined by the Finance Division

• Tenure: 03 years contract

Eligibility

• Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in Natural or Applied Sciences or a Master's degree in Natural or Applied Sciences.

• Experience: For Ph.D.: 07 years of post-qualification experience in research, development and scientific work. For Master's degree: 09 years of post-qualification experience in research, development and scientific work.

• Additional: Experience in administration and financial management at senior level will be preferred.

• Nationality: Pakistani.

• Age: Maximum 62 years on the closing date of the advertisement.

• Domicile: Merit.
