About the role

The Ministry of Science and Technology invites applications for the position of Chairman to head the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) under its administrative control. The role requires strong leadership, communication and management skills to lead research, development and scientific work and to provide senior-level administrative and financial oversight.

• Pay & Allowances: Salary package for MP-1 Scale as determined by the Finance Division from time to time.

• Tenure: 03 years contract

• Place of Duty: Islamabad

Eligibility

• Qualifications: Ph.D. Degree in Natural/Applied Sciences OR Master Degree in Natural/Applied Sciences.

• Experience: For Ph.D.: 7 years of post-qualification experience in the field of research, development and scientific work. For Master's degree: 9 years of post-qualification experience in the field of research, development and scientific work.

• Experience in administration and financial management at senior level will be preferred.

• Age: Maximum 62 years on the closing date of the advertisement.

• Nationality: Pakistani.
