Contingent Shutdown Staff Vacancies at Public Sector Organization

About the role

A Public Sector Organization is hiring competent and dedicated workers on a contingent basis for shutdown activity only. Selected candidates will be engaged on fixed wages for a period of 80 to 110 days and will be posted at Karachi. Interviews are being held as walk-in interviews at scheduled dates and venues; candidates must bring original documents and one attested copy.

• Scientific Assistant-I (Physics / Chemistry) — Rs. 64,277 per month. Qualification: B.Sc. (1st Division). No experience required.

• Jr. Assistant-I (Admin / Accounts) — Rs. 59,453 per month. Qualification: B.Com / BBA / BCS (two years) or BA/B.Sc in relevant field (1st Division). Relevant experience will be preferred.

• Caretaker-II — Rs. 58,053 per month. Qualification: Intermediate. Experience: 3 years.

• Driver-III — Rs. 48,639 per month. Qualification: Matric with HTV driving license and civil driving license; minimum height required 168 cm. Experience: 3 years.

• Special Vehicle Operator — Rs. 48,639 per month. Qualification: Matric with HTV civil driving license and trade test in operation of special vehicle. For ex-servicemen, a minimum TT Class II course in operation of the relevant vehicle is acceptable. Experience: 3 years.

• Cook-S / Tandoorchi / Walter-I — Rs. 48,639 per month. Qualification: Middle. Experience: 6 years.

Eligibility

• Age: Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years. Age may be relaxed for candidates with technical expertise and experience relevant to shutdowns, turnaround maintenance of chemical/petrochemical/power plants.

• Only candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility for each post should appear for interview.

• Where a 1st Division is prescribed, only one 2nd Division in the entire academic career is acceptable; qualification may be relaxed for technical expertise and experience in the relevant field.

• Experience will be considered only if acquired after obtaining the minimum prescribed qualification for the post.

• Candidates must have obtained educational certificates, diplomas or degrees from government-recognized institutions.

• Walk-in interviews for posts listed at numbers 7 to 11 will be conducted at Karachi only.

• No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the interview.
