About the role

National Bank of Pakistan is hiring experienced professionals for risk, MIS and consumer policy roles based in Karachi. Selected candidates will support independent risk reviews, MIS reporting, portfolio analytics, and formulation and maintenance of consumer secured and unsecured product policies. Roles report to unit heads within SME Risk and the Retail & Program Lending Division and will provide analytical support to senior management and Board Committees.

Posts and vacancies

• Manager MIS (AVP)

- Reporting to: Unit Head - MIS, SME Risk and RMG HR & Administration Division - Key duties: develop, automate and manage MIS dashboards; generate timely management reports and scorecards; perform portfolio analytics including concentration analysis, risk migration, delinquency trends, EWIs and NPL monitoring; lead automation using business intelligence tools; ensure data integrity through reconciliation, validation and governance; coordinate regulatory, audit and management reporting.

• Assistant Manager - Policy Consumer Secured Finance (AVP)

- Reporting to: Unit Head - Policy Consumer Products, Retail & Program Lending Division - Key duties: formulate, review and maintain secured consumer and agri product policies and programs; set target markets, risk acceptance criteria, exposure limits, tenors and collateral norms; review policy exceptions and recommend risk mitigants; incorporate stakeholder feedback and maintain audit trail for policy changes.

• Assistant Manager - Policy Consumer Unsecured Finance (AVP)

- Reporting to: Unit Head - Policy Consumer Products, Retail & Program Lending Division - Key duties: formulate, review and maintain unsecured consumer and agri product policies and programs; set market and risk parameters; review amendments to product programs, SOPs, scorecards and deviation matrices; assess portfolio risk and recommend lending criteria and mitigants.

Eligibility

• Minimum qualification for all roles: Graduation or equivalent from a university/college recognized by the HEC of Pakistan. Candidates with a Master's degree or relevant certifications will be preferred.

• Manager MIS (AVP): Minimum 6 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and/or Project Management. Required skills include data interpretation, statistical analysis, accuracy in reporting and data handling, experience with MS Access and Power BI, and strong verbal and written communication.

• Assistant Manager - Policy Consumer Secured Finance (AVP): Minimum 6 years of banking experience including at least 4 years in Secured Consumer Policy and/or Credit Risk and/or product program based lending across consumer, agri and SBP schemes. Experience in housing finance, auto finance or other secured lending products is an advantage. Sound knowledge of secured consumer and retail policies, agri & SME financing and SBP regulations is preferred.

• Assistant Manager - Policy Consumer Unsecured Finance (AVP): Minimum 6 years of banking experience including at least 4 years in Unsecured Consumer Policy and/or Credit Risk and/or product program based lending across consumer, agri and SBP schemes. Experience in unsecured lending products is an advantage. Sound knowledge of unsecured consumer and retail policies, agri & SME financing and SBP regulations is preferred.

• All roles: candidates should be goal oriented, detail oriented, proficient in MS Office and possess sound business acumen.
