About the role

Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) is hiring on a contract basis for its Market Implementation and Regulatory Affairs Department. Appointments will be on a lump-sum pay package with no regularization. Candidates selected will be employed on a contract and may be required to serve anywhere under PESCO jurisdiction. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview after qualifying the ETEA screening test.

Eligibility

• Assistant Manager (Finance): CA (Inter)/CMA (Inter)/ACCA (Member) or M.Com/MBA (Finance)/MBA; B.Com (Hons) 4-year or BBA Finance (Hons) 4-year. Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in audit and accounts in government, semi-government, organizations, corporations, autonomous bodies, large commercial organizations or large public limited companies. Computer literacy is mandatory. Minimum 3 years total experience including 1 year of experience in the power sector if available. Understanding of bilateral contracts and bidding process and knowledge of competitive electricity market is an advantage.

• Assistant Manager (Transmission & Planning): Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. Minimum 3 years total experience including 1 year in transmission planning if available. Candidates should understand transmission planning at 132 kV level, capital budgeting and preparation of project documents related to transmission planning.

• Assistant Manager (Demand Forecasting): Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. Minimum 3 years total experience including 1 year in demand forecasting if available. Candidates should understand medium-term and other demand forecasting and consolidation of demand forecasts.

Common conditions:

• Age limit for all posts: 21 to 33 years. General age relaxation is already included in the age mentioned. Scheduled castes and Buddhists are allowed 3 years relaxation. Government servants who have completed two years continuous government service on the closing date shall be allowed 10 years relaxation in the upper age limit.

• Original documents must be presented at the time of interview. Candidates working in government or semi-government bodies should apply through proper channel.

• Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification.

How to apply

1. Create a profile and apply online at www.etea.edu.pk. The online application form is available from 15 October 2026.
2. After creating the profile and before applying/depositing fee, print the E-Sahulat token from ETEA's website and get your CNIC verified at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (kiosk). Without CNIC verification you will not be able to apply.
3. After successful submission of the online application a prescribed online deposit slip (showing token number, project code and candidate information) will be generated. Take a printout of the deposit slip and deposit the prescribed non-refundable test fee through OneLink. Keep the original candidate copy of the deposit slip with the bank stamp; do not share it.
4. Apply separately for each post for which you wish to be considered and pay separate fee for each post.
5. Do not send documents or testimonials to the ETEA office after online application. Copies of testimonials/documents will be required from candidates who qualify the screening test when requested by the appointing authority.
6. Candidates will be informed by SMS from ETEA to download and print their Roll Number Slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Do not provide a ported/converted mobile number. Test date, time and venue will be mentioned on the Roll Number Slip. No separate call letter will be issued by post or courier.
