About the role
The Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Defence, PASB Secretariat, invites applications from retired Armed Forces officers for Deputy Director and Assistant Director posts. These opportunities are covered by a corrigendum to the recruitment announcement dated 30 November 2025. All other previously announced recruitment details remain applicable.
The posts are identified as contract/regular positions, with duty stations at the DASB offices listed below.
Posts and vacancies
- Deputy Director (BS-18): Posts at DASB Gujrat and DASB Nowshera. The maximum age is 52 years.
- Assistant Director (BS-17): Posts at DASB Tank and DASB Khuzdar. The maximum age is 50 years.
Eligibility
For both Deputy Director and Assistant Director, applicants must be retired Lieutenant Colonels or Majors, or officers of equivalent rank from the Navy or Air Force.
The age limit applicable to each role must be observed: 52 years for Deputy Director and 50 years for Assistant Director.
