About the role

Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) is inviting applications for a contractual position in the Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD). The appointment will be made on a lump-sum contractual pay basis, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval of the competent authority. Candidates should possess understanding of bilateral contracts and the bidding process; knowledge of competitive electricity markets will be an added advantage.

Eligibility

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor or equivalent in Engineering, Law, or Management Sciences from an HEC-recognized university.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of total experience including at least 3 years' experience in the power sector. Experience in the relevant field will be given preference.

• Age limit: Up to 40 years.

• Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan.

• Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous, or Public Sector Organizations must apply through the proper channel.

• Candidates shall be required to produce original educational, professional, and experience documents, along with a valid CNIC, at the time of interview or whenever required during the recruitment process.

• No TA/DA shall be admissible at any stage of the recruitment process.
