About the role

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training invites applications for the post of Director General, Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE). The appointment will be made on a contract basis initially for a period of three (03) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval of the competent authority. Eligibility

TORs and the Shortlisting Criteria (including required qualifications and experience) will apply and can be downloaded from the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training website. If more than fifteen (15) eligible candidates apply, the Shortlisting Criteria will be used to shortlist candidates for interview. Candidates who applied against the earlier advertisement published on 23 August 2026 must submit a fresh application against this advertisement; applications previously submitted will not be considered. Only shortlisted candidates fulfilling the laid down criteria will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
