About the role

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training invites applications for the post of Director General (MP-I) for the Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE). The appointment will be made on a contract basis initially for a period of three (03) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval of the competent authority. The post carries pay package MP-I. Terms and conditions of appointment will follow the MP Scales Policy, 2020 and Finance Division O.M dated 31.10.2023 and its amendment(s).

Eligibility

Qualified and eligible candidates should apply. If more than fifteen (15) eligible applications are received, the stated shortlisting criteria will be applied. Candidates who applied to the earlier advertisement published on 23 August 2026 must submit a fresh application for this advertisement; applications submitted against the earlier advertisement will not be considered for the present recruitment process. Only short-listed candidates fulfilling the laid down criteria will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
